About Me
Hi, I'm Lisa Ritchie and I'm glad you are here! Simply put, I get a lot of pleasure out of a well designed space. I enjoy taking in all the colors, textures, layers of lighting, finishes, furnishings… the list goes on. It's something that I never tire of and I am constantly observing and drawing inspiration. It is my goal to bring that creativity to your home to design a home that you love.
From an early age I wanted to be an artist but I didn't exactly know how to apply that skill set and couldn't envision it as a career. It also didn't seem practical at the time so I went to college for a business degree, and off I went to the insurance and financial planning world. It was through this profession that I gained the skills for customer interfacing, project management and problem solving. I am very grateful for these years and it was a hard decision to leave to be present at home as a new mom. When it was time to re-enter the working world, I knew it was time to tap into my business experience and design skills to run a business of my own. I founded Lisa Ritchie Interiors in 2020 and turning a hobby into a profession has been very rewarding for me. I know how lucky I am to say I love my job.
A little known fact is that I also come from a family that owned and operated a home decorating business out of Fairfield County, CT for over 50 years! I live in North Andover, MA with my husband Dan, two teenage boys, and very large yellow lab, Mac. I love endurance sports and when I am not designing you can find me swimming, biking, or running. I love to be social, meet new people and to throw a great party.
